Great, and love it – First of all I am very impress with the speed shipment I order on 12-16, and I got my watch on 12-19 great! I have been looking for a G-shock for a few months from the Mudman, Guffman, and never seen these military model before. I seen it at Macy, and though they a bit big for my wrist. I was going to order GD 100 in Black but the price is $30 higher this natural color. After I see this watch, the color is actually very nice, and I love it. It fit nicely not too big at all. This watch is very light feel like it lighter than my old G-shock. It has world time that I am looking for because I travel and call oversea a lot. I was going to buy GA 100 with analog dial, but some reviewer is saying the light is hard to see from under the dial. GD 100 light is very bright, and also automatically come on when you turn your wrist. I turn it off to save the battery.

Best watch I’ve ever owned! – First of all this watch is extremely comfortable. I’ve owned the Samsung fit smart watch and this watch is even more comfortable than than even though it is over double the width. I’ve worn this watch every day for almost a month, sometimes to bed, to work, and when going out and it has withstood bumps and scrapes like a tank. The water resistance works 100%, I’ve worn it in a pool, and during a cleaning mishap, drenched in windex, and it still works fine with no sign that liquid has gotten in. Sometimes the shiny resin can pick up paint when it bumps into things, however, you can get the paint off with your nail if you’re running it under warm water (or while taking a shower). The shiny resin can also start to look full, however if you wipe it with a towel, it gets the resin shiny again. The large nested buttons are really easy to use, you won’t hit them by mistake because they’re nested and you can hit them easy because they’re so large. The fact the buttons are nested protects them from impacts also. While lifting weights the strap stayed on nice and sturdy. The hourly chime, alarms, timer, and stop watch are all really useful when you’re cooking (timer), setting reminders (alarm), tracking rest times while at the gym (timer), and just in general. Having the day and date displayed is useful. You can also stand up the watch when you’re not wearing it (photo shown). The only downside of this watch is sometimes when you’re inside in a non sunlit room, it’s hard to read the watch face. However I rate the visibility 5 stars because the backlight is great and you can set it to auto. The world time is useful for knowing when my friend in California gets off of work so we can game, or for knowing when I can call relatives in other countries. After setting the watch after purchasing it it was only 8 seconds off almost a month later. I really like the style of this watch and it fits well with New York streetwear trends. If you’re on the fence about this watch, just buy it because it’s so good.

Tough, chunky watch – I would give this five stars except for the different time zone/international city function. Whenever I lift something heavy enough to bend my hand back very far it presses my hand into the watch and the watch into the top of my wrist which sometimes results in the button being pushed and changing the time zone. If I don’t happen to notice that I am now looking at a different time zone then it messes me up. Once I learned that I could set all four or five cities to the same city then it solved the problem. So now I can press the button all day and it still shows the time in Denver. A useless function but other than that the watch is great for work and has a great, chunky, rugged look to it. First digital watch that I’ve owned in over thirty years and surprisingly, I’ve had several people notice it and tell me they really like my watch. Water resistance is great and functional. While snorkeling in the Caribbean at depths of around 20 feet I even pressed the buttons against the advice of the manual and had no issues.
