Beautiful watch – It is a beautiful watch with all the things you want & none of the busy multi-dial silliness. If it had GMT it would be perfect. The day is dual language. One you set it in English it steps ahead 2 at a time to stay in English. Very readable and durable w sapphire crystal face & no magnifier to get snagged. The band is well matched and durable using their double release system so you won’t loose it. The gas tubes work great for night visibility. Even though it is not as accurate, I love that it is automatic.

The one thing they left out – I have lots of watches. I have two luminox quartz watches from 1997….they still work and they still glow (dimly but in total darkness it’s just as bright as some bgw stuff after a few hrs) getting an auto in this style has been one of my goals. Well actually waiting for them to make it that is. I have a few “tube” watches and they all have something missing…alas this one as well. The seconds hands isnt tubed, it has lume on it. They can’t say it can’t be done cause the Marathon is tubed with the same movement, (yea ok the thing has an ETA, the nox is a SWL but it’s the same movement) what hurts the Marathon is the bezel isn’t tubed, what hurts the Luminox is the seconds isn’t tubed. Is it a deal killer, well I’m wearing it aren’t I? It’s spot on with a +5sec accuracy. Better to be fast than slow when it comes to time. Would I buy it again. No. Why? It’s a tank and my other Nox’s have lasted two decades. I’ll be dead before it will need replacement. Now if they changed the dial color to orange…oh yea. I’d have two of those.
