Surprisingly great watch helped by a different band – I scoured Amazon and the internet for simple and easy-to-read watches, looking for certain features and reading reviews, which takes more time than one would like to calculate. If you want watches with bells and whistles there are millions. If you want a watch that someone with low vision and/or memory problems/dementia can read, not so many. It’s sad when you get right down to it, but I expect it’s because those not needing exotic interfaces just use their cell phone to check the time.

A lot to like, but the band broke in less than a year – Pros: very readable; the numbers, rather than the dial, light up at night; good water resistance; setting procedure pretty straightforward; crystal quite resistant to scratching. Excellent price for the functionality.

Great watch; poor band – I love this watch and would have given a five rating except fot the band – BUT, it is replacable. I am fixing to order my THIRD of this watch. I was wearing the watch while on a 9th floor balcony. The band broke, and the watch fell to a cement surface 11 floors below (on lower parking level). It is shock “resistant,” but NOT shock proof!! The screen shattered – NOT unexpected. LOL

Exactly what I need! – Great product. Large, easy to read digits. Doesn’t slide around on my wrist. Has clever strap retaining band that doesn’t slip off. All I have to do is look at it to tell time and date. I had several smart watches. Got tired of jerking my arm around or pushing a button to see time. If the strap and battery last a year, I will be very happy.

Surprisingly Good Watch for the Price – I have an active lifestyle so I’m pretty tough on watches. I’d fallen into a pattern with Casio because a model I liked had a tough case and could take a good beating – But; the resin strap would wear out, break at one of the indents, and replacing just the strap was a huge pain. After the fourth Casio in 3 years broke, I decided to try cheaper options. The first two attempts both watches died in 2 weeks. This watch was my third attempt.
