A Simple Yet Excellent Watch – What can I say? It does what it’s supposed to do. It has nice large characters so it’s easy to read when I’m blurry-eyed and checking the time when I wake up in the middle of the night. I love the light button on the front, which is one of the main reasons I bought this model. The velcro band closure is comfortable and easier to open and close than a standard buckle.

  2. I. S (verified owner)

easy to set & use, durable – I bought this for my brother-in-law. I’ve had the same watch and found it easy to see, easy to set & easy to use.

  3. K. S (verified owner)

Advantage of Expedition over Ironman – One problem I had with Ironman model is button on lower front face is for dual time mode. Found when

You can’t beat a Timex! – I have a Timex Ironman which I have worn for years, and it is just getting hard to set as the buttons I am sure are dirty. So, I decided to buy a new Timex Expedition and I am very glad I did. This one should last me another 15 or more years.

This watch is awesome – You don’t have to wear reading glasses or press any buttons to read the day, date and time that are clearly displayed on the face of the watch. The watch isn’t rated for scuba diving but you can shower, swim or wear it outside in the rain. When you press the easiest access top button to illuminate the face, it works. All of these features, so simple, yet outpace the competition. If you want a watch that works, buy this one. If you want fashion and an altimeter, compass, etc. be ready to pay for a really expensive watch that may require you to press a button to see the date but not the day, isn’t water resistant, etc. Timex takes a lickin’ but keeps on a tickin’. True.

The watch band is not rubber or plastic. – The face is only 39 mm so not as big as my Marathon but watch band is fabric with velcro so should last more than a year like those plastic rubber ones.

  9. E. M (verified owner)

Great everyday watch – I have a very similar Timex watch, it must be 20 years old. It looks tattered, but works fine. This is a slightly updated model. I got all black which I think looks better than the black / silver. It’s rather large, and is thick, both of which are fine with me. I like the velco band because I can adjust it exactly, never too loose or too tight. The back light is cool.

  10. J. O (verified owner)

Dumb digital watch with many features – The watch has survived many years of use, and been through multiple band replacements. If you don’t need a smart watch, and don’t need jewelry on your wrist, this watch is solid.
