Just keeps on ticking, I keep on buying – I’ve bought this model of Timex multiple times. It’s cheaper to replace it than to change the battery. It’s served me well for over 12 years. When I was sail racing, it kept ticking through pounding Pacific waves and never failed to wake me for my 4-hour watch. The lighting has changed over the years. It used to backlight and now the digits light up. But it’s still readable until the battery starts going down (about every 6 years). I use the Chrono function for cooking steaks and timing marks during a race. It’s easy to set with gloves. I have a Rolex for formal wear and a Samsung Watch 4 (that I seldom use) but the Timex is my go-to watch for everyday wear. For the money, it’s a great deal.

Use it for counting laps swimming – I have used it for ~a month ~1hour un the water ~45 laps each time.

Reliable and an excellent value for the price – This is one of many Timex Ironman watches that I have purchased. It’s a good value for the price and the quality has been very good. Timex use to have a very similar watch with a heart rate monitor built in but I think they discontinued that. This is when I switched to this model. I like the size, not too big and it has the basic functions I like for timing swimming lap splits, as well as a countdown timer. The battery normally last for at least two years and is replaceable.

Good watch – I have bought this watch for years. It is reliable. The one feature I have always wanted is the countdown timer, and this is the only watch that I know of that has this. I also like the three alarms on it too. I like the entire date (month, date, and day of week). As long as Timex makes this watch, I will continue to buy it.

Like having an old friend back. – Used the Timex Ironman years ago when I exercised a lot. Now I use it for the date and time. At least I remembered how to set it. A good solid watch. Happy once again! Would buy again if needed.

This is the only watch model I will buy – I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TIMEX MODEL! Everytime I have to get a watch it will always be this one. This is my 3rd time buying this watch and it probably won’t be my last. Over the past 12 years I had 2 prior but managed to either lose it or ruined it due to water damage (the person at Walmart who replaced the battery broke the water seal and didn’t tell me.) I have never seen any operational issues with this watch. Extremely reliable and I absolutely love how simple it is. If you are looking for a really durable and reliable watch get this one. I wouldn’t recommend any other watch.

A great watch – Look. If you want a step counter, a heart rate monitor, GPS, magical Harry Potter stuff, etc, this is not it. If you’re looking for a very good, long lasting watch that’s easy to set and use, and is perfect for long runs and time zone changes, this watch is perfect. I’ve owned probably 5-6 of these over the years, and couldn’t like them more. Customer for life

20 years later, these are still quality! – I bought this watch in 2001 and wore it for 2 combat deployments with the Marines before it got destroyed. I bought another and it lasted two more rugged deployments and the workups for them. Bought one more and it lasted me years on a shot crew working fire as a sawyer, hunting, rafting, and a ton of time in the back country. I stopped wearing watches for a few years and this summer was looking for a new watch. I was surprised to find that Timex still makes this model (Iron Man Triathlon). Ordered one, and it’s the same quality it was 20 years ago. Outstanding. It will be put through the ringer again and it will be there for me. It isn’t fancy or flashy and isn’t meant to be, it’s just reliable piece that can take the abuse. It also doesn’t feel like a hockey puck on your wrist.
