Great at any price if your not a prestige watch wearer – Love this watch. Use it as both an everyday watch for work and on weekends and the watch I continue to wear when I’m out exercise walking. I’ve had mine for 3 1/2 years of continuous use and have had no problems with it. It keeps time accurately. The Indiglo light is cool and allows the watch to be read in the dark. This is just my personal preference but I didn’t like the strap it came with. It was perfectly functional but for ME it was clunky, bulky and ugly. I replaced it with a quality brown leather band and I think it looks really nice. I don’t buy watches to show off; I just want simplicity, form and function. I bought this watch to replace an earlier Timex Expedition watch I had for more than 18 years. I bought this originally as just my exercise and knockaround watch and had a Seiko with a Roman dial which I had for more than 20 years which I wore for the 9 – 5 grind. Sadly I lost it one day while on my daily bus commute in the winter. The leather band must have broken and the watch apparently fell off my wrist. That was about 2 years ago and when I started wearing this Timex as my daily watch. I’m planning to buy another Seiko with a Roman dial though because Seikos are great watches too.

Works Great – Came retail packaged in perfect shape. Easy as pie to set time and date. Very nice wrist strap!!!

  3. A. M (verified owner)

Good, but… – Good, but a bit expensive. The indiglow isn’t very bright and the date number is so small it’s very hard to read. I like it, but wouldn’t buy it again. Not unless it was half the cost.

Simple but functional. – It is a simple watch that does the job well. The strap is comfortable, the numbers are easy to read, the Indiglo at night is very well lit. It looks like a military watch, or durable should. Very pleased with the purchase. There is maybe one bad thing…the second’s hand does tick a bit loud if you are in a quiet environment, if you are outdoors or in the office, you will not hear it, but you will in an empty room with no sound.

It’s a watch that may be over-rated due to the looks it mimics, but this is just a plain watch. – Just got mine yesterday, so this is a two-day review. As a watch that looks the part, but really isn’t the part, it’s OK. It’s got a complex look to it from afar, as if it is capable of things, but it’s only really a time-piece, and a resin-one at that.

Very comfortable/light – Most comfortable watch I own , hardly even know it’s on my wrist. Pretty basic watch. Great for every day

Great watch, but the face scratches easily – I have worn this daily for 6 months. I do all my own work – fixing our house up, working on the truck, welding, and I work daily in IT, moving around chassis and hardware. This watchband cleans up great and the watch itself is holding up pretty well – aside from two scratches in the watch face. I will probably get another 2-3 years out of this, then I’ll switch back to a Casio – the faces held up better on my old Casio. That said, the band is WAY better on this than the Casio I had.

Good Watch – The watch keeps time very accurately. The band is different, but it’s comfortable and easy to ‘strap on’. I am disappointed that the outer ring with numbers in 5 minute increments doesn’t turn (diver’s use that to know how long they’ve been underwater. I use that feature when grilling hamburgers and such. The light is activated with a button and works perfectly. Aside from the outer ring not turning, it’s a great watch.
